Mount Olive tied for third in the conference with 188 student-athletes on the 2012 Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll for the 2012 fall semester. The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who recorded at least a 3.20 grade point average this past fall.

All of Mount Olive's athletics teams were represented on the Presidential Honor Roll, led by the Trojan softball team with 18 student-athletes. Men's soccer was second with 16, followed by men's track and field and women's volleyball with 14.

Two Trojan teams' performances were notable in terms of percentage of team members qualifying for the Presidential Honor Roll. All five members of the women's tennis team were named to the Honor Roll. Only two members of the 16-player women's volleyball roster fell short of the Honor Roll and both of those student-athletes recorded gpa's above 3.0.

Limestone finished first in the conference with 209 student-athletes on the Honor Roll, followed by King with 205. Queens tied with Mount Olive. A total of 1,723 student-athletes were named to the Presidential Honor Roll.
